ENERGY LEVEL 66-70: NERVOUSNESS

Nervousness is the feeling of being uneasy or on edge—like something might go wrong, even if we’re not sure what. It often shows up before something important, unknown, or out of our control. The body feels it first: a racing heart, shaky hands, tight muscles, or a flutter in the stomach. It’s the body’s way of saying, “Pay attention—something’s coming.” Nervousness isn’t always bad. It can mean we care. It often shows up before growth, change, or performance. But when it builds up too much, it can become anxiety, making it hard to focus, speak, or act clearly. People try to hide nervousness, but it’s a common human feeling. Everyone experiences it—before a big decision, a test, a performance, or a difficult conversation. The key is to notice it without judgment. Nervousness can be managed with breathing, preparation, and self-kindness. When we face it instead of running from it, it often fades. Nervousness doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re stepping into something that matters.
